Hace algunos años, en medio de las manifestaciones del Espíritu, Dios comenzó a avivar el interés de las personas con respecto al tema de la fe. Lo primero que pensé fue: Aquí vamos de nuevo con otra oleada. Las personas la denominaron: « Movimiento de la fe ». Algunos aún la continúan llamando de esa manera. Ellos se refieren a la fe como si ésta fuera una moda teológica pasajera en la comunidad cristiana. Pero le compartiré algo. Después de vivir por fe durante más de 40 años, me he convencido de que no se trata tan sólo de un movimiento, ni de una simple fase espiritual que experimenta el Cuerpo de Cristo; es mucho más. El avivamiento de la fe que hemos visto durante los últimos años, ha surgido como resultado del llamado de Dios. Él está reuniendo a personas de todas las denominaciones para que formen parte de una vida de poder. Él nos está revelando el camino para vivir en victoria -día a día, en buenos y malos tiempos-. ¿Y no es eso lo que deseamos y necesitamos? El Señor nos está enseñando que lo único que funciona es la fe en Su palabra. Él nos está llamando a vivir por fe, no sólo de forma temporal; sino: «Hasta que todos lleguemos a la unidad de la fe y del conocimiento del Hijo de Dios, a un varón perfecto, a la medida de la estatura de la plenitud de Cristo» (Efesios 4:13). Si Dios le ha ordenado que lleve una vida de fe, y usted sólo ha estado caminando de puntillas alrededor de ésta… preguntándose si ese movimiento de fe es real o no… ¡salte dentro de éste ahora mismo! Porque la fe no es un movimiento, sino la manera en que el Señor obra y vive… y es como Él anhela que usted viva. La fe abrirá la puerta para que usted ingrese al reino de Dios. Y una vez que se encuentre allí, la fe lo mantendrá en ese lugar -sano, salvo y próspero-. La fe en la Palabra lo mantendrá armado, y usted será un peligro para el diablo. Lo librará del pecado, y le ayudará a crecer en el fruto del Espíritu y logrará agradar a Dios. La fe es una forma de vida permanente para el pueblo de Dios, funciona aun cuando todo lo demás falle. La fe está aquí para quedarse. 1 Samuel 25-26; 1 Corintios 11 Yo desarrollo y alcanzo la unidad de la fe con los creyentes. Soy perfecto y completo en Cristo (Efesios 4:13).

Some years ago, in the midst of all the moves of the Spirit, God began to awaken people to the subject of faith. My first thought was, Boy, here we go again. This is another wave. People called it that. They called it the Faith Movement.

Some people still do. They talk about faith like it’s a theological fad passing through the Christian community.

But I’ll tell you something. After living the faith life for more than 30 years, I’ve become convinced that faith is not just a movement. It’s not simply a spiritual phase sweeping through the Body of Christ. It’s much more than that.

The awakening of faith we’ve seen over the past years has come as a result of the call of God. He is calling people from all denominations to move into a life of power. He is revealing to us a way to live victoriously—day in and day out, in good times and bad times. And isn’t that what we want? Isn’t that what we need?

He is teaching us that faith in His Word works, even when nothing else works. He is calling us to live by faith, not just temporarily, but as Ephesians 4:13 says, “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.”

If God is calling you to live a life of faith, and you’ve been tiptoeing around it…wondering if the movement thing is real or not…jump in now! Faith is not a movement. Faith is how God operates and lives…it’s how He wants you to live.

Faith will open the door to the kingdom of God for you. And once you’re in, it will keep you there—safe and healed and prosperous. Faith in the Word will keep you armed and dangerous to the devil. It will keep you free from sin and enable you to grow in the fruit of the spirit. Faith will enable you to please God. Faith is a permanent way of life for the people of God. It’s a way that works when nothing else does. Faith is here to stay.
