¡Su futuro está guardado dentro de su corazón! No se establece por su pasado o por sus circunstancias actuales, sino que ¡usted mismo lo determina! En los versículos anteriores, Jesús indicó que según lo que se encuentre en su corazón eso saldrá de él. Por tanto, considere lo siguiente: ¿Quién guardó las cosas malas en el corazón de las personas malvadas? Es obvio que ellas mismas. ¿Quién depositó cosas buenas en el corazón de la gente buena? La respuesta es la misma. De igual forma, usted es el único que puede depositar la Palabra en su corazón. Ni su cónyuge ni su pastor, ni tampoco Dios pueden realizarlo. El Señor ya cumplió con Su parte para ayudarlo. Él convirtió su corazón en un almacén para Su Palabra; y además, le abrió una cuenta cuando era un bebé espiritual. Así como se declaraba en las Escrituras: «…conforme a la medida de fe que Dios repartió a cada uno» (Romanos 12:3). Cuando usted nació de nuevo, Él colocó una medida de fe en su corazón -pero usted es el único que puede hacer que esa medida incremente-. Y puede lograrlo al tomar la Palabra y depositarla dentro de su corazón. Cada vez que deposita la Palabra, el saldo de su fe aumenta, y su futuro brilla aún más. ¿No es esto emocionante? ¡Y no existen límites de la cantidad del depósito que usted desee realizar dentro de su corazón! Entre más deposite, las cosas mejorarán; pues de allí efectuará retiros para cambiar las circunstancias de su vida. Su corazón contiene la fe que necesitará para pagar cada cuenta que el diablo trate de enviarle a su camino. Si él trata de colocar enfermedad y dolor en su vida, usted puede obtener en la Palabra los versículos acerca de sanidad; y éstos le darán la victoria en esa área. Si acaba de salir de prisión, encontrará en la Palabra los planes de Dios para su bienestar y la paz que le permitirán vivir bien. ¡Su futuro en realidad es brillante! El Señor lo expresa en Jeremías 29:11: «Porque yo sé muy bien los planes que tengo para ustedes -afirma el Señor-, planes de bienestar y no de calamidad, a fin de darles un futuro y una esperanza» (NVI). Deposite la Palabra en su corazón. Confiésela en fe y observe cómo cambian sus circunstancias. 2 Samuel 9-10; 2 Corintios 3 De la abundancia de mi corazón, habla mi boca. Por tanto, saco buenas cosas del tesoro de mi corazón (Mateo 12:34-35).

Your future is stored up in your heart! It’s not dictated by your history, or your current circumstances. Your future is determined by you!

In the Scripture verses above, Jesus said that what was in your heart is what comes forth. So consider this: Who stored up the evil things that were in the evil man’s heart? Obviously, the man himself did it. Who stored up the good things in the good man’s heart? Again, the man himself did.

In the same way, you’re the only one who can make deposits of God’s Word into your heart. Your spouse can’t do it for you. Your pastor can’t do it for you. Even God can’t do it for you.

God has already done His part to help you. He’s the One Who made your heart to be a depository for His Word. He’s the One Who opened the account for you when you were a spiritual baby. As the Scripture says, “God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith” (Romans 12:3). The moment you were born again, He put the initial measure of faith in your heart—but you’re the only one who can make that measure increase.

And you can do that by taking the Word of God and putting it into your heart. Each time you make a deposit of the Word, your faith balance grows, and your future gets brighter. Isn’t that exciting? And there is no limit to the size of deposit you can make into your heart!

The more you deposit, the better things are, because that is where you will draw from to change the circumstances in your life. Your heart holds the faith you’ll need to cover any bill the devil tries to send your way. If he tries to put sickness and disease on you, you can draw from the Word of God about healing and it will give you victory in that area. If you’ve just been released from prison, you can draw from the Word of God about God’s plans for your welfare and have peace that you can make it just fine.

Your future really is bright! The Lord says in Jeremiah 29:11 (niv), “For I know the plans I have for you…plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  Put the Word in your heart. Speak it out in faith, and watch your circumstances change.
